A couple of weeks ago, our kids were complaining that EVERYONE in Utah was "so lucky" because they had so much snow. Poor us...we don't get any snow. Even when it actually snowed in Vegas, we got nothing. So, we packed everyone up and headed for snow. We found plenty of it and stopped just outside of Cedar City to let the kids play in it. They were so excited, but I don't think they had any clue how cold it was (about 17 degrees). They bundled up in what little snow clothes we have and went crazy in the snow. They had so much fun, but it only lasted about half an hour before they were all freezing...including mom and dad!!!! I think they got the snow fascination out of their systems for another year. Why do we always want what we can't have?
Below is a video we took right before we left. Kyle grew up in snow, but his kids are clueless about it. So, he thought it would be funny to get them to race down the hill in the deep snow, knowing they would never make it down the hill without falling. He was right. We hope it amuses you as much as it amuses us.
