We had a lovely Spring Break! We had a lot of fun, spent a lot of time at home, took a lot of naps, played with lots of friends, slept in almost everyday, went to the Fair, had 2 Easter egg hunts, went to a neighborhood bbq in the rain, roasted marshmallows and celebrated Easter. We really enjoyed the week off from school and most responsibilities...Kyle even had the week off of work. What a week! Here is a few (ok a lot) of pictures from the week (not in chronological order...I am too lazy to rearrange everything).

*Easter
The day before Easter, we had a neighborhood bbq and it was pouring rain the whole time. We set up some canopies and forged ahead. The kids had a blast looking for eggs, eating good food (and candy) and playing in the rain and mud. The adults enjoyed the adult conversation and occupied kids. That night, we colored eggs and then while mom was trying to take pictures, the kids decided the see who could be the funniest...hence the pictures of them acting like they are eating the eggs and dye. Funny. Nate was at a friends while we colored eggs, so he missed out.
*THE FAIR
We swore we weren't going to go to the fair this year, but once again...we caved. We went up on Thursday and spent a few hours. We skipped the carnival (I fear the "carnies" and those rides are all death-traps!) and just hung out, ate a little, and did a few fun things. It was fun. The kids were bummed about the carnival, but they will live.
Whew...I am tired just recounting it!

I think Claire wasn't pretending to eat the egg! It looks like she has it in her mouth!
I love the picture of Ansley on the tramp! Holy split!!
What a week! You're so strong to not give in to the carnival!
